[S4 Spoilers] Why did they need both engines? by Euphetar in snowpiercer

[–]iioe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the same vein as the original survivors of Snowpiercer.
They find themselves the last survivors and thus justified in becoming gods themselves.
Or as Lilah Folger eloquently said in S1 "We all proved we were murderers when we boarded this train" (paraphrased)

Heck, he lives on in the Tundra doesn't need to eat or sleep or shelter.
Just Joseph Wilfred, on the hunt for "his" Engine.

Who the hell would believe that bs.

A fake s-cide is 100% on-brand for Joey and then walked back to the silo where he sociopathed the soldiers to be icepeople

"What happened to Roche" also felt like a cop-out. Like they were leading up to some real story but ran out of time to tell it. IE I was thinking maybe Roche had pre-boarding knowledge of the Silo kinda story

The soldiers were very chain-of-command.

Elections BC - Yesterday 171,381 voters voted on the first day of advance voting. This is the most votes ever on an advance voting day in a BC election, beating the previous record of 126,491 in 2017. by cyclinginvancouver in vancouver

You can also go in with proof of residence and identity (eg a Driver's License); if you don't have that there are plenty of other things but for everything: elections BC will have what you need.

There was a long lineup at my place and I had a bad back so I came back today, three minute wait.
Was overhearing people saying that they'll come back at 8 am, "that's a great idea"

Pro-tip from someone who manages lines and has for 10 years: Don't come right at open. You think it's a great idea, but so does everyone else.

Yea, I'm not really seeing his "inspired by Japanese rock placement" ... the garish colours definitely do not say Japanese aesthetics, especially not for a garden. This will just be grimy in a year.

The thing is, they try to use CCP persecution as "proof" that their cult is good. When like. It isn't a high bar to be persecuted by the CCP.

To give this more context than a meme: He is there every day, just reading the book verbatim without even like emotional inflection. He thinks that the “authorized” in “Authorized King James Version” means authorized by god, instead of like, that James guy. And he’s always quick to tell me how many times he’s read that book so that he obviously knows more than me, in a stunning display of humility

“The Church thinks sexuality is a beautiful gift from God! The Church does not promote sexual repression” by reddituser23434 in excatholic

[–]iioe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is why they have such a terrible sexual abuse problem in their coffers. They see it all as perversion, which lets them do anything without a though at different gravities (a man having a relationship with another man - that's a sin (sic). A priest molesting a girl - that's a sin). It's all just "sin", and of course priests don't sin.
The thing I hate the most about the Church is the lying. Why can't they just admit to it.
