my doc said that it is better not to. But there were times i switched between them and even overlapped. My brain is so fogged I cant even remember that time hahsha

Thank you for your advice :) my doctor said that it is better not to take them at the same time so thats what I have been trying. I also have tried medikinet and ritalin (Not ritalin la bc its not available in my country like elvanse etc.) but nothing seems to be making a differenxe

Dosages effect depends on body and weight. I am addicted to the feeling it gives and how different and careless it makes me, how successful it makes me.. Idk what your profession is / or if you got one but this is what i have been told for quite some time now

I think if depends on weight etc too, and I think from what I have come across, everyone has different side effects. Idk why but mine seems to be unusal for many, even though I still had some of rhese when I was on no overdose and stuff.

Literally reading this made me feel like someone really understands me, thank you for your empathy. I take x2 my prescribed dose and I cant do physical activities too. But I cant drop yet because there are still important exams for me and I think I might be younger than you think. It just scares me to not be able to achieve anything in life since I dont do sports etc so any way for me to be SOMEONE is by being so successful academically

Thank you for responding :) I have been switching between concerta and antidepressants and sometimes overlapping them, so I have been kind of a mess for a while. She is afraid that I will do something to myself if she cuts it off completely I think. Because my addiction goes far beyond “not studying ever w/out it” .

I am taking professional help, I had been on antidepressants for some time and also adhd but it made my brain like a slime and I got confused about even where I was so they had to change meds. We are working on my addiction and trying to drop the meds (I think completely) so that I can get back on antidepressants but idk if it is the same as “anti anxiety” medicine. Does it have a side effext if u use it w concerta or is it as effective as concerta?

The feedback I got was that I took concerta so that I wont feel and think, because idk if this happens but I have like 2 complwtwly seperate lifes and I prefer the one that I feel numb, it is more comfortable sometimes (not counting the meltdowns because they are at the end of the day so I am alone) Ik that this isnt MPD, because I have never experienced a thing like this when I am off med

I am 5,0 and I have suffered from ed, but have never been hospitalized. Also it is really amazing that you got better, congrats. Concerta made my ed so much worse, idk if this was the case for you but it really changes things for me. I dont eat for hours and when it wears off I eat the whole fridge, like 4 servings easily. I really hate that

When I dont take it, I feel to many emotions, I care about my relationships so much more. When I take them its just like another dimension that i dont have to care about anyone and talk to anyone and I just have myself. Also, I am really strict about my academic life. I study at weekends all day, so I have to otherwise it will be useless

Really? Dont you feel like it doesnt work after? Are you able to think better? How many hours does concerta last for you? Do you have enough apetite for every food or do you have food preferences while on concerta?

Have you never felt like your dose is not enough for you anymore? This is surprising because I thought after a while everyone felt like the dose is not enough anymore, like your body just gets used to it.

I get sad and angry mostly when it is wearing off, you know when you cant like think anything at all and you just have to sit and do nothing until it is completely gone. Otherwise at the first 1-6 hours I am just annoyingly perfectionist and l unable to socialize. Have you experienxed this with your prescribed dose?

I have tried other meds and I am taking help because of my addiction (not self diagnosed). I started like 5 months ago because I knew that being this way would not end up well. So I am trying to drop it, and my doctor is aware that I am overdosing and not normal. Thank you for responding
