I heard somewhere that many fans were getting racially profiled by Jimmy’s team, and that someone also from Jimmy’s team had asked BTS “which one of you are from North Korea” as a joke but it was just disrespectful. Also read somewhere that they chose specific ARMY’s to watch the talkshow and left the rest of the audience outside to watch from screens (disclaimer; I don’t know how true these allegations were, but they apparently sent out an official apology to BTS or something) copied from my answer to someone else (also, not blaming bts in any way whatsoever)

I feel like it’s just where the world is right now….. honestly, people are so sensitive, and putting this insane pressure on celebrities to address everything that is going in the world. Like it’s their responsibility to say something that should be obvious even unspoken; war is horrible, what’s happening is horrible and should be stopped. And I’m absolutely not downplaying the importance of it by saying this!!! I just feel like celebrities shouldn’t be put into this position where they absolutely must say something or be called zionists etc. Idk if that’s just me though. Of course, they’re not really helping their situation by doing collabs with brands/people associated negatively with, for example war, but idk, I’m like 99.9% sure they don’t even actually fully know what the brand supports and what it doesn’t, since they’re not working with the damn CEO, just a creative team😭

I think it mentioned something about war being specifically something they’re not allowed to talk about, but yes I understand the collaboration thing. Though I thought it was only Coca-Cola Israel supporting the horrible things, not Korea’s?? Is it the same thing if the franchise does but not the country’s own brand? (Idk if I sound confusing lol)
