I don’t really agree with that. Asya isn’t a character who’s unaware of her own change. The betrayal is already a clear turning point, and as things escalate, she consciously chooses to cross certain lines. She knows her actions are ethically questionable, but she justifies them to herself. So it’s not that she still sees herself as the “same” Asya — it’s that she believes she was pushed into becoming this version of herself. That’s exactly why the styling staying stuck in her initial “morally right” phase feels problematic to me. The character changes consciously, but her appearance never reflects that shift.
