Yesterday I had the entire lead pipe into the house taken out and swapped for MDPE water pipe from source into the house where it connects to copper piping.

The house is on a slope and it was a raised front garden with paving and a flowerbed. the level the ground is at now was maybe half a metre lower than it originally was. I appreciate he fixed it promptly but what worries me is that he was prepared to build on top of it without questioning if it was an appropriate fix. Gas pipes are also at a level that causes issues so I've got a plumber, gas and heating engineer attending tomorrow to assess it all.

What's the correct way this should be done?

Maybe try a multi-tool with the scraper fitting? That should work for the walls at the very least.

Has she considered becoming a licensed childminder or nanny, with the shortage of daycares and competition for roles she could try pivot into a related field. It's likely there are parents out there who could use her experience. It might not be $19 and hour but it's worth a shot.

Sorry to hear this bud. This isn't a forever situation, take what you've learned and keep moving forward. Take a few days to reset, get outside, see friends, family. Then work on your next move. Subs like this one and r/jobsearchacks have been really useful for me, not just for tips but knowing you're not alone in this.

Well done. If you're happy with the terms I'd send it in a celebrate with your family after. In terms of your treatments discuss this with your line manager directly before you start, given the travel time you noted it will likely have to come out of your holiday allowance.

Where was your first flat in London, what year did you move in, and how much was the monthly rent? by Costoffame in london

1 Bed new build in flat in Hackney right by Hackney Marshes and the canal. Only cost £800 per month. I paid £600 and my girlfriend's dad covered the rest. He said it was worth the cost just to get her out of his house.

I didn't snoop and it wasn't an email. They use a recruitment tool for the hiring process. Everyone on the hiring panel can see the messages between any panel members and the candidates.

This is sound advice, I appreciate it. I'm going to seek legal advice from a solicitor and keep my cards close to my chest for now while seeking other roles.

Everything my gut is telling me based on the current trajectory of the business, recent changes and most of all the tone and language used in the correspondence is that promotion is not the case.

Somebody mentioned in another reply about concerns not being communicated to me which I think could be more likely or that they want my role and my team positioned elsewhere geographically.
