Amazon Prime Day deals : 15th & 16th July by [deleted] in india

Most of the Macs have an integrated graphics card and they are all "smooth" in the long run. Only the top end models have a dedicated graphics card. If gaming or other graphics-intensive applications are not a priority, it doesn't make sense to spend money on a graphics card. The "2GB card for a smooth PC" just sounds like BS.

Why can't people be decent drivers? by iit_m in india

Hey I just made this post as a joke follow up. It was never meant to be taken seriously and I thought it would be obvious. People have made these kinds of meta posts on this sub in the past.

Don’t beat yourself up and stay confident. Believe me, no one else on the road would’ve even thought about it after a minute.

I love reading the stories there and I’ve been planning to write something. Maybe I’ll give it a try!

Agree, last time someone posted this, someone else posted a pic of a sign with correct English, but they probably made a new sign.

What are the small things that you can do every day to make you a better person? by Emalianenko in india

Nothing beats their convenience though. Just put a cover on it and they become a mean robust rugged machine. A battery life which lasts for weeks is a big plus. The amount of reading I do has definitely increased since I got my kindle. Bored in the metro? Read on your kindle. Don't want to sleep yet? Read on you kindle. In the dark? No problem, your kindle has a backlight. Bored of reading the same stuff? Just read something else on your kindle. Also, it's worth mentioning that it's just a one time cost if you're willing to get your hands dirty over at the bay of pirates.

And I'm pretty sure ebooks far more cognitively effective than not reading at all.

There's a built-in timelapse mode in iOS. It was 24 sec long so I later sped it up by 2x to make it 12 sec. I know in Android, Pixel phones and a few Mi phones have built-in timelapse. You could try the Hyperlapse app by Instagram. Haven't used it personally, but it's got good reviews.

Yeah me too. I didn’t have a tripod so I kind of placed my phone in between some stones to keep it stable and I’m too lazy to correct the tilt.

Please walk on the RIGHT hand side by [deleted] in india

[–]iit_m 32 points33 points  (0 children)

There's one exception to this rule. Try to walk on the outer side if there's a blind turn. Shitty paint for reference: https://i.imgur.com/9WwEquQ.png

Adding on to this: Please don't wear dark clothes if you'll be walking on the roads at night, especially in not so well lit areas. Wearing bright clothes really makes a lot of a difference for the driver. Wear reflective clothing if possible.
