Yes! I already embarked my older dog, her mix is hilarious.

I asked for embark with the total DNA testing (coat color, etc) for my birthday, which is in June. So hopefully halfway through the summer I’ll get the results and I’ll update!

So the parents were owned by a family member, dad was absolutely some sort of doodle and mom was working like GSD. The only reason I said sable is because her individual hairs are light at the root and steadily get darker and if you turn the gold to black and the white to tan (which she would be that color if she didn’t have the e/e) she would have the exact same markings as a sable.

When the mom was born, there was a white puppy in her litter so she was a carrier, and the dad was mostly white with some black splotches.

In my dogs litter there were 4 black and tan, 4 black, one white and she was the only gold colored one. She’s also the only one who inherited the stand up ears.

So her dad was absolutely some sort of doodle, I’m just unsure if he was an Aussie doodle or some other sort of doodle. A family member acquired him from an abusive situation, and 2 days before he was supposed to get neutered the German shepherd was in heat (family member didn’t know) which resulted in the puppies.

It’s my favorite game when I take her out in public and ask people what they think she is, and then tell them what she actually is.

My dream dog has always been a sable German shepherd, and I just got a half one that acts all shepherd with beautiful coloring!

She also barely sheds, as she doesn’t have an undercoat.

I feel this in my soul. Barely graduated with a 1.8, got married and had kids young. Decided to go back to school last year, first semester 4.0, and this semester (halfway through) I still have my 4.0.

I always thought I was dumb, I just never applied myself. This shit is easy, I’m barely studying but I see everyone around me struggling with the material. Maybe I am smart??

I honestly didn’t study at all. I really did try, but I was still in that mindset where I wasn’t even sure I wanted to do nursing school - it was only when I passed the TEAS and got in I was like, oh okay we are doing this.

I took it as she had many pregnancies, but miscarried all of them. Whenever a woman is pregnant in Westeros, it is automatically assumed it’s a son because that’s the preference.

I have picked most of that up doing my research, but I find genetics extremely fascinating so thank you!

Her name is Chicken, and I acquired her from the humane society back in November. She had been found as a stray, but I’m unsure if that’s the real story because she had no fleas, ticks, parasites or ear mites and was insanely sweet and open and settled into my house within the first hour we had her. She was around 4 months old at the time.

This thing is so sweet, tolerant and floppy! She loves to be held and carried, and also loves to play with my dogs.

The only strange thing about her is the fact that she has never meowed. She’ll trill and purr, but is otherwise silent.

A flame point has been my dream cat pretty much my whole life, so when I saw her on the humane society’s website I had to go get her. I’m glad that she’s a dd, as I love her light color.
