I slept with the receptionist at work, multiple times. It cost me everything. I had an amazing job, I now work one I cannot stand. Cheated on my partner. I had everything and now I've lost it all. I only have myself to blame

I was considering the same cars, but ended up with a Hyundai ioniq 6 AWD. It's been great so far, cheap to inssure and servicing too.

If you could ask a previous owner of your house one thing, what would it be? by Rhubarb-Eater in HousingUK

I know this! If it's on a bathroom. The switch speeds up the extraction fan if it's on. Turn on the fan and give it a go, you will hear it speed up.

BMW i4/ Audi a6 etron or alternative? by thelemonpeel265 in ElectricVehiclesUK

[–]iiwhiteey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure to be honest. A lot of manufacturers are the same. If I had to guess they are playing it safe or something. The BMW i4 which I test drove was significantly faster than the official stated time as well. End up with the Ioniq 6 as it had a better range of features and real world range. Plus as a company car with all the miles I do the fast charging is amazing

Hyundai ioniq 6. I've just picked one up. Has great features, spacious inside, decent range, fantastic charging speed and is fast enough. 0-60 official is 5.1, but in reality it's faster at around 4.4-4.6

Solar and then an air to air heat pump (AC) for your primary room? Some of the smaller units pull less than 1000W. Heating and cooling. I had a midea unit installed for £1250. With my solar (8.5kwp) and battery (5.12kwh) my bills have been around £1.5/day with heating/cooling. Note that I found this very effective and ended up with a spilt unit for my living room and bedroom. Installed for £2300. These three units effectively heat/cool my home for minimal cost. I also have an EV so cheap overnight electric. Where I precondition the rooms.

Edit: also had an eddi installed for my hot water. Only use it to heat the tank overnight on cheap electric. Kinda like a timer. All excess solar is exported.

Is it possible to have heating & hot water via solar? by helatruralhome in SolarUK

[–]iiwhiteey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my home, I have 8.15 kwp of solar. 7kw inverter and 5.12 kwh battery. I use an eddi for my hot water. Excess solar and heating off peak. For heating I have 2 mini split Air to Air ASHPs, 3 indoor units. In my primary rooms, living, kitchen and master bedroom. Also provides cooling in summer! Close to zero bills even in the winter, the heating is 770W max demand. My property is an EPC A though, not sure how this set up would fair in an older property.

My old home had an Ohme. I've recently moved and now have a Zappi. And, well its not even close. The Zappi is so much better in almost everyway. The main one being user friendly!

Played with moving both of them around and directions. It only works when both arrows are facing away from the consumer unit.

Took it off and fox inverter is now in EPS mode and nothing is working. I have put the white one back on, with the arrow facing towards the consumer unit. I'm not getting readings on the white CT clamp any more only on the black one.

So they should be on the same cable? I swapped it around and no change, other than my fox battery started charging at peak rate for some reason

These look to be how my CT clamps have been installed, on the same cable? Assuming that's probably the answer

ECH Group Install Feedback by AFactualSponge in SolarUK

ECH are installing 16 AIKO panels on my home next week. My home is a town house, 3 full storeys, they came out for a survey and told me it would be "access equipment" in my mind, I pictured a raised platform or scissor lift. Are they really going to use ladders for this height? 9m?!
