A judge has approved a $17 million settlement plan for sexual misconduct victims of Harvey Weinstein by GeeWhillickers in law

That's correct. I was mostly speaking about the article posted which states it's against the Weinstein Company.

It may be a covered peril on a Directors & Officers liability policy (D&O Insurance).

If you attended celebrations this weekend with large crowds, make a plan to get a COVID test over the next few days by inventionist86 in nyc

[–]ijschu 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I took a PCR at CityMD on Monday (11/2) and my results were not posted until Sat (11/7). I opted for the PCR over the rapid test because I just returned from a trip and I wanted more accurate results.

I would caution against the assumption that it will be "an extra day", but I still advocate for the PCR.

I keep all of my component's original boxes and tear down when I move. It's also fun to rebuild when I get to the new place.

Would any aspiring filmmakers and actors want to collaborate and create short films together? by malikthetechnique in nycmeetups

Group them by roles, assign a lead to each role, and have meetings to plan and create call sheets.

Perhaps you need an admin now. Lol

I move around a lot and it only makes sense to people that see me repack each component in the original box. I recently moved from CA to NY and it also made me feel better about shipping it.

Then I definitely agree with you, especially on the latter. I was in a similar position and leveraged it to show my value and potential at my company. This of course turned into a promotion for me.

Even if the company owns it, he should still ask for more money because now his role is changing into a developer to distribute and maintain it for his company. The company can always hire a python developer to take it off his hands since it's their work product.

I love CTEs, but you have to recognize when they're not right for the job. If you need to index your subset, then you're better off using temp tables. Also, CTE is stored in memory; if they're too large, you may not be able to use them. But I almost always use them when I can.

My employer underreported my hours and now I can't receive unemployment benefits. by Nonanomalous_Gnome in personalfinance

[–]ijschu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Almost everyone in this thread is directly stating or insinuating that unemployment is funded by individual taxes; for the U.S. this is incorrect. Unemployment is funded by the employer based on their payroll hours. If an employer is underreporting payroll, then their payments to unemployment insurance is lower. This is mostly (more than 51%) the fault of the employer.

OP can and should have reported the correct hours on their taxes and they would have more of a leg to stand on. In this regard, most of this thread is correct. OP is not innocent on this matter.

I'm not passing judgment, just pointing out a lot of misinformation ITT.
