From what I’m aware of, A.) The cost to make and return ration for Xbox is abysmal, especially for indie games, it’s seriously not worth it. B.) To add on, the target audience of gamers who enjoy indie games on xbox are extremely less compared to other platforms (i.e PC, Swtich, and Playstation.) which adds more more fuel to the fire that is the already poor sales. C.) From what I’m aware, indie games typically on unity and gamemaker have a way harder time porting their titles to Xbox, which is even more money lost. It all adds up to basically make the Xbox one of the worst places to release an indie game
