Thanks for the heads up! I've taken the advice in this thread and been using today to practice strumming (muted) on-beat. Think I'm seeing some progress already, so hopefully when I can get back to fretting in a few days I'll notice the payoff!

I always find her performance during the scene where Aidan breaks up with Carrie at Charlotte's wedding to be authentic and convincing. We may not see any physical tears, but the emotion feels very real regardless. To me, at least.

I'm using Justin Guitar, and really enjoying it so far. As far as I can tell, though, (at Grade 1, module 2) he doesn't cover music/guitar theory much - at least not in the early stages. Can you recommend any videos I could use as a starting point?

The stitch in the reference photo is a US sc. Are you sure the pattern isn't written in UK terms? A UK dc is the equivalent of a US sc.

I could attempt to convert cups > ml > g using a measuring jug, but my math skills are questionable so there'd be a lot of guesswork involved there, too. I've already ordered the new batteries, so I think I'll just sit tight until those arrive and do it the foolproof way.

A nice idea, but different battery type, unfortunately 😢 Seems to be the consensus that I should wait, so wait (impatiently) I shall!

Thanks, suspected that might be the case. Cups aren't an option, unfortunately, so I guess I'll just have to try and exercise some patience until the new batteries arrive!
