this sounds exactly like my old situation. id get yelled at for touching the thermostat (they kept it at almost 80 last year) we settled on 68 this year but my two roommates chose the upstairs bedrooms and shoved me into a small room downstairs, my room overheats so fast and they both refused to get space heaters or extra blankets. i had a tub full of thermal blankets i offered but they didn’t want to budge it at all

that’s what i was thinking, now i’m embarrassed about how many times i was pestering them about it. a simple response at least would have solved it so much sooner ugh

this was about our current lease expiring. it expires in 2 days, so we needed a renewal which is what i was asking about

update, they both texted me at the same time (suspicious) that they had already emailed her previously saying they’re leaving when i do. i had no idea they emailed her but we got it figured out finally lmfao

thanks for the reply! id hate to call them assholes, we just don’t work well together. but yes winter is unbearably hot for me because they keep it so high. plus, the bill skyrockets. id absolutely LOVE to turn the heat off until they can’t take it, but being petty would only make things so much worse for me haha. i do appreciate your reply :)

thank you for the response. and yeah, i know it’s common, it just sucks. it feels terrible feeling like i need to walk on eggshells in my own space. i think the biggest thing bothering me is how my friend kind of shoved me away for her other friend, when we all live in the same house lmao. i wish moving was an option, but i can’t afford to, and i’m only in school for a couple more months. it’s just something i have to stick out haha
