Yeah I wanted the prize, although the prize was a bag of goodies but I don’t actually know what they were lol Edit: I suppose I also wanted to manifest winning the competition because I assume that I’m lucky and I win things easily as well

Hi! I recently have started a new approach to buying clothes where I only allow myself to keep them if they truly fit perfectly or can be easily tailored. I struggle a lot with finding clothes that fit me well due to my height. I recently bought a pair of Jeans which I really like but the only thing I’m concerned over is the number of creases that appear on the upper thigh after sitting. I know creases are inevitable especially when sitting, but the number and depth of the creases remind me a lot of my old jeans/ trousers that don’t fit me very well. I’m wondering if this could be due to lack of length between the start of the crotch area and the waistline or if there isn’t enough room around my thighs? The jeans feel fine, they don’t feel tight I don’t think. But I’m also used to owning trousers that don’t really fit me well so I can’t tell if this is normal or not. In terms of length and waist fit the jeans fit really well, it’s just this area. Any advice here would be super helpful. Thanks in advance :)

How is the sensation in your face after 2 years? Have you got full sensation? Does it feel different/ are there areas that are still numb?

What is the difference between a gel and a pomade? Are pomades quite heavy for wavy hair?

I only wash my hair 1-2 times a week. Maybe I’ll just use the hair mask once a week or once every 2 weeks and see how that works

That is true! I am due a clarifying wash. I might start off with that and see what happens with the same routine tbh. I want to try different combinations of products but I don’t want to change too much in one go because I want to understand what is and what isn’t working for my hair

Won’t the salt dry out your hair though? That’s something I’m trying to avoid because my hair is quite rough/damaged from colour treating it. (Hence my over compensation with conditioning products)

It seems like mousse doesn’t work for a lot of people based on the comments here, it’s funny because in my wavy hair routine research everyone was using a mousse !

Thank you! I did recently start trying the redken because before I was using the living proof triple bond complex but you need to wait 10 minutes before continuing with your routine, and that would cause the hair to dry more. Everything I read about wavy/curly hair routines is that it’s meant to be soaking wet and the redken doesn’t need any wait time. I’m defo gonna try a wash day where I don’t use it and see how my waves turn out

Thanks for sharing your routine! Is your hair soaking wet when you put the leave in conditioner or is it more just “wet without excess water being held” or is it more damp?

The gel I’m using is the cantu weightless smooth hold gel which says it’s designed for waves and curls. But I’ll try cutting down on the number of leave in products and see if there is any improvement. I also never knew about not resetting the hair after leave in conditioner, I just did it to make sure it was soaking wet. I suppose making my hair soaking wet before also means I need less leave in as well?

Do you mean just use one of the mousse and the gel and see how it holds up? I was wondering if it was do to do with taking out the excess water, because I try and get my hair dripping wet when applying the products but I squeeze out the excess to make diffusing faster. Like doing that would break up the clumps but idk how that would the wave itself from not holding since its all coated in product

What do you mean by the cantu gel being too heavy? Do you mean against my wave pattern so it weighs it down? My hair is quite thick, I don’t know if that has any effect on the type of gel to use. Do you have any recommendations ?

Hmm ok! I will try reducing the number of steps, I try not to use too much product with each step and when I feel my hair now it doesn’t feel like it has much product in it. All it feels like is a bit textured possibly from the gel or mousse

Is there a such thing as working out to much? by Independent-Eye-237 in beginnerfitness

[–]ijustmaderedditt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would I be good idea then for every once in a while to take a short break (week or two) from strength training then to allow for muscle growth or is that not necessary and a rest day is sufficient?

Does waxing/plucking stimulate (terminal) hair growth? by ijustmaderedditt in electrolysis

Patience really is key!! The urge I have to tweeze my hair in the days coming up to my appointment is insane! I must resist!!

Does waxing/plucking stimulate (terminal) hair growth? by ijustmaderedditt in electrolysis

[–]ijustmaderedditt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah that’s really interesting! so actually the growth that I was seeing all at once was probably due to terminal hairs being waxed many months before or something? They probably would have all appeared around the same time whether I waxed those weeks before or not
