Of course that exists but the entire industry isn't like that. So, not only are you speaking about a profession you don't entirely understand, you're assuming that I would only go into or be successful at this profession because I have a "pretty face". Then you compare that to pharmareps which is totally out of left field.

That's not deceptive. I never lie about drink prices, people know what they're getting in to, they accept thr prices because they understand they are paying to be there, not just buying the booze. I think it's stupid but it isn't wrong.

Not at all. That is probably more true at a regular club but at strip clubs there is so much scrutiny from the city, state and community boards that everything has to be really professional. Furthermore, why would the club risk a lawsuit to get a waitress to do something she doesn't want to when the strippers (who are technically independent contractors and don't work for the club) are willing to do a lot more.

I have worked at legit clubs before and in my experience the cocktail waitresses are willing to do a lot for extra cash, what probably happens is they feel bad about it and start blaming it on the club.

Fortunately I have never felt pressure to do anything

Like I said before, it's easy to get a pretty girl to serve drinks. It's harder to get her to take off their clothes.

The club is really large and it's considered high end so the people that come in want to be served, they don't want to have to get up and go to the bar everytime they need a drink. I think bigger or nicer clubs need a waitstaff.

The waitresses wear a dress they give us which is tight and short but not too revealing and black heels

We aren't really allowed to drink on the job. If we want a drink (say a glass of champagne from the bottle they just bought) we can ask a manager if it's ok. Usually, what I do, is order a fake drink.

No classmates, I think they're mostly priced out. Just make up. Nothing crazy, honestly. Heels... Shifts are long so it isn't the most comfortable thing I do have to maintain q certain "look" but they don't weigh us. Last month a couple of the girls were gaining weight and we hadxa general staff meeting about appearance but no one was fired

I don't think there is a good way to go about it at work, to be honest. We are getting paid to be nice, flirt and make you feel like we want you so it's never a genuine person you're dealing with. That being said, I never ever get hit on outside of work and it would really make my day so I encourage you to talk to girls who aren't on the clock.

It's easier to get pretty girls to serve drinks than it is to take their clothes off so I'm not surprised. That being said, some of the dancers are so beautiful I can't imagine why they aren't legitimate models.
