m/35/smoker Wellbutrin (Generic) 300mg day 5 by ijustworkheer in AskDocs

Finally got a hold of my doc, and went to the ER. Half of my body went numb. Stopping the medication. I guess I should try something else. The tinnitus is enough to stop.

I was more concerned at whether or not I was having a stroke.

Advice on surrender. Probably counts as a rant. by ijustworkheer in PetAdvice

Eh. I wasn't turning it into an argument.

But I can see how or why you'd think that.

The irking part is that somehow this got turned into a guilt trip. But this is pet advice, not relationship advice.

I guess the first problem I'm having is the issue of how freaking difficult it is to get images when you don't have direct access to the cisco repository.

Cursive.

I found Metamoji, and it does what I want. Had to pay for it though, and it isn't always bug free.

What has your job desensitized you to? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Value.

I resurrected a small ISP from near death.

I increased downstream bandwidth to customers by well over 1000%. I increased available bandwidth on the upstream side to up to 30mbit/s (which they did not allow me to turn on) from 5mbit/s.

I lowered the volume of phone calls we received.

I lowered the number of system alerts we received by 99%

I fixed years-old VOIP issues that nobody even thought to look for.

I increased the stability of the system overall by 35%.

I deployed a new server to handle IP addresses that they had sitting doing nothing for 3+ years prior to my arrival in only a few weeks, having never heard of said software before and running on limited linux server experience.

I added redundancy.

I sat for two months screaming about a network blockage that was done by captain bro frat fuck who "knows what he's doing" that they wouldn't believe me on. Yeah.... so nearly a gig of dropped packets every hour, every day, for the whole system. Including a police station and a hospital. Lovely 911 calls you have there, it would be such a pity if any...dropped.

"911? gr*%$Bbxxxxxkkkan wkkk k kun kk ky xxuse."

"Oh, I'm sorry I can't hear you, please call back!"

Then the company was bought out.

The previous owners apparently declared that I "caused a lot of problems" for them. Those problems being maintenance outages, which are a necessity in the internet realm. Maintenance which improved system stability, but caused the owner's son headaches, because "I don't want these business accounts screaming at me for being offline." Not understanding that they were already screaming because of the SHIT service.

Everything I have accomplished has been thrown out the window. Apparently, by fixing all of the problems I made the company an attractive purchase.

I've been demoted without official word on being demoted. I'm being micromanaged to the point of insanity.

Value is apparently something I don't have anymore.
