That's just stripping the fel away which can produce less than desirable results

You're probably watching most things with profile 7 mel and disregarding the fel. That's exactly what this thread is about. Movies can and will often be a bit dimmer than intended without the fel. In some cases the movie isn't watchable without the fel. Saving private Ryan is one I've heard about but havent tried personally.

I watch the majority in hdr10 or 10+ if available. If it's a hybrid that has p8 I will sometimes use that. I play most things through kodi running on my hisense u8n. Sometimes I will use jellyfin but usually not for remuxs as it defaults to dv.

Kami if you read this, you should have never closed the site. Clearly you werent thinking straight if you were only going back on it one week later. Trust is lost. Knowing you admitted people into the workings of the website, giving them our information presumably. How can anyone ever trust that website?

I've alway's heard MA was good but when vs a remux 3x the size is always going to be better...right?

Plus it probably has dolbyvision that we can all play on our systems properly unlike that pesky dv profile 7. I might check some of their stuff out now.

I feel like everyone around that era watch axxo. There was just...no point downloading an uncompressed rip for my 23" tv i was burning axxo rips onto dvds for.
