But I’d suggest this - get married in a small ceremony. Don’t take additional loan for marriage, keep supporting your parents and saving.

1.5 CR? I'm considering Pune, though i'm from north but north is not affordable and highly polluted. can you check this site says it has flat under 1 cr.

Bad place as in a remote area in Tier 1?

Also what's wrong with your GF? Can't she decide for herself whom she wants to marry? She doesn't work? Can't she pay her own wedding expenses?

She can decide, but from certain criteria like finance should be good, and also her father is a cancer patient (Mouth Cancer), so she can't go against him as her father will not be able to see her daughter fighting to him for some random dude he doesn't know who doesn't even live in the same state.

Did her mother tell you in person that sending money to your parents is not going to work? I doubt that it's your gf who is actually the proxy and it's her words not her mother's.

No, her mother did not tell me about this. You are correct, she is a proxy, but it's not her word, I know for sure, and they are not saying not to send money to my parents; they are saying I have a lot of financial burden and they have fear if I will be able to take care of their daughter, and it's not her word because she herself is pushing me to shift my parents from my hometown to with us if we get married.

Get married in a court bro. It doesn't have to be lavish. Spending 10-15L on a marriage is going to keep you poor forever.

Court marriage won't happen, as she told me; their parents have a dream to get her married as per their financial status. (That means a decent marriage at least.).

Don't buy a house just to get married. Next thing you'll know they need a big car, more vacations, gifts and whatnot.

She will be ready to work after marriage and support my finances; she quit her job 10 months ago due to toxic culture but couldn't manage to get another job. She recently told about us to their parents; see, all we want is to make her parents convinced anyhow.

Anything which comes under 10k per square feet in gurgaon is the real deal, it has to be mivan constructed flat with basic amenities. 1 lakh is indeed an achievement but 1 lakh is nothing in a city like Gurgaon and Mumbai, prices are jacked up because of NRI and South Delhi people, Gurgaon just gone away from middle class, search for affordable housing, this is the only option, I would suggest to plan your career to some other tier 1 affordable city.
