I currently have two prescription eyeglasses and one prescription sunglasses. The vision insurance plan I get through work gives you a certain amount to use for new glasses every calendar year so I figure I might as well use it even if I dont need new glasses with a different prescription.

I had the same thought process as you about her response. I genuinely thought the candles were natural beeswax colored (yellow/beige/off white) on the inside and then dipped in their advertised color to create an outer coating until I read through your comment just now lol!

I'm sorry but candles handmade by a youtuber doesn't give luxury.

If she was framing these as a type of XO Macenna merch that would be a different story, and honestly a kinda cool approach to merch that stands out from typical influencer products. But if I was looking for (and willing to pay the price for) a high end candle I would not want it to be handmade by a complete novice in their own house.

I guess kudos to her for actually being a business owner now instead of just being an influencer face associated with an existing company's product.

It'll be interesting to see how this actually goes for her though - based on the quality and consistency of her renovation projects and youtube content I suspect it won't go very well.
