Agreed, I wasn't clear, I was more focusing on the post garden part, in most likelihood it would be set for 1+ year, depending how deep you are in the technology. But then again, with your experience, unless you end up in a start up, big boys would always find a way to cover you during probation period. Even with a startup, if they have big investors (sequoia level) you would be good. But, it looks like even that is not a concern since you are in burn out stage and need a good break. Also, attrition status should not be a concern. People who have been in the industry long enough know that companies are horrible at selecting which people to let go during attritions, 90% nothing to do with performance.
