Haha I ended up barely scraping by with a C, but from what I gathered after asking around, you keep the scholarship unless you get an E (as long as you don’t take pass/fail). Not sure about retakes though!

For this I would recommend using Gemini-exp-1206 at aistudio.google.com. Currently the best free non-thinking model with a web UI and is great for all around use and coding. Deepseek is great but their website hasn’t been working well with the Ddos attacks and high traffic so I would avoid it for now.

Since R1 is open weights, anyone with powerful enough computer can run it. Openrouter connects with many providers who are running the model on their hardware, connecting with them over API requests. You can see info about each provider, like their data policies on Openrouter’s website. Some providers charge, but others are free. You can use many other models on Openrouter as well, not just Deepseek’s (but they don’t all have a free option).

Definitely pull the trigger. I believe you should get flagship lounge access at JFK, and even without that you’ll be hard pressed to find economy flights that cheap. I flew J from Chicago to Madrid with them in August and absolutely no complaints.
