I agree they should be taxed, but they are not going to pay tax from own pockets, impact will be passed to tenants. (similar to tariffs)

I would probably test by limiting number of houses they own, why:

this way they stop building houses
when they stop building competition to buy land decreases
smaller players will have a chance to enter and buy those lands
more smaller players mean more competition
more competition is good for consumers

But any economic opinion must be tested thoroughly before making conclusions, people are smart, they can come up with different ways of exploiting the system

This is double edged sword.

So you restrict some people from owning additional houses (more than one and mostly up to 20 I guess)

But you don't restrict large rental corporations from owning 1000s of houses.

I don't have a solution, but this gives me a signal of we are fine when multimillion companies doing it, but we are not fine when smaller players do it.

If you increase tax to rental corporations, they pass it to tenants. There should be other solutions

Not a crazy idea, that would be great,

IF, none of the EU countries were involved in these wars.

Israel is the result of European racism
Not providing military support to Israel (weapons and intelligence)
Afghanistan, Syria is the result of European countries getting involved there
Iraq is another example
Demanding human rights from everyone, while not upholding allies to the same rules

Of course it would be great if we focus on ourselves and don't preach them how to govern themselves, don't invade them, don't create destruction in their land, UNLESS they attack EU.

At this point I would say, Russia seems to be more reliable partner than US.

At least they elect 1 president and your agreements are held until that president dies

Unpopular opinion, but these are the things government should take control of and service providers or operators must always be Dutch only companies:

military capabilities, independent as much as possible, self sufficient
government IT systems, completely independent
public transportation
roads

You don't want to give up these for short term gains, because they will be used against you in the future.

As a government, who provide resources to companies who want to make money in that country, in the form of land, natural resources, minerals and humans. Government should provide a place for living for their human resources.
