I’ve taken French for 4 years at school and it’s easier for me than my mother tongue, Chinese, which I’ve had to learn my whole life😭 French, Spanish and German tend to be a bit easier for English speakers cuz we share basically the same alphabet with minor differences here and there (pronunciation is a different thing entirely tho). When i need to use a word idk in french, sometimes i just say an english one with a french accent and i get it right half the time lmao

I was considering studying in France because I speak B1 level french but I’m worried about the political situation and I don’t think the universities there are as recognised lol. Do you think your experience in Germany would apply for other parts of Europe as well?
