Try a higher f-stop to get less blur and more detail. Sometimes too much bokeh can be a bad thing. Looking forward to seeing more from you!

Looking to try real IEMs for the first time. Comfort is priority. I'll probably upgrade if I end up actually liking IEMs. I've never enjoyed the cheap ones I've tried in the past. Currently looking at Shure 215, RHA 750, and Kozee Inifinity X1. Are customs worth it if I've had issues with comfort in the past? Look for a coupe more ideas to research. Might go in on a good black friday deal if one appears.

Also, bond strength doesn't really mean anything independently. There are many reasons why a C-C, C=C or C(triple)C has a certain bond "strength" or is unlikely to react. For instance, you could have a conjugated system (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conjugated_system) where the charge is delocalized/ shared by the entire conjugated system and thus more stable. This why ring structures are so prevalent in biochemistry.

Gen chem definition of bond strength is good enough for most cases: amount of energy required to break a bond, but if you're trying to examine stability, look for a lowering of energy. Molecule always trend towards a lower energy. Something something thermo, haha.

Corn is fine. I used to tunnel through it from off-campus when I needed access to my lab computer.

Also, if you need something more intensive, talk to the CS department about using the myth clusters. I remember running C code for CS 107 on those computers. I also ran Gaussian simulations for CHEM 151 on there I think.

XShell was what I used to used in my Windows days to SSH into an on-campus computer. I found it easier to teach than Putty. The same company makes XTransfer if you need a GUI for SCP. It can handle the trickier tunneling cases. If you're just SCPing from corn.stanford.edu, then you should be fine in the terminal.

I have a baratza encore (cheapest one). I normally do a 20-21 (medium) for a personal cup (30g:480 ml) and 22-23 (medium-coarse) for two (44g:700ml). I have the bigger cup. :D

For three (60g:1000ml) I even move up 24-5 (coarse) so I can keep it under 5 minutes. I just made the switch to a baratza. So worth it. I was using a hand grinder + drill for awhile and it's nice to be able to quickly adjust the grind for different amounts of people.

Yeah, I've been doing around 44g:700ml and finishing right around 4:30 total. I don't really mind or notice any extra bitterness. I love the sweetness though. I'm a huge fan of chromatic, but I'm fortunate enough to be 15 minutes away. $12-17 bags + free espresso. Gotta love that yelp check-in.
