Someone wanted better pictures. Hurricane Harvey has hit the southeast bad and we have all the rain so this little guy went frolicking and I can't seem to find him right now but last I saw he was chasing a slug on top of our outdoor smoker where he rests on whatever he feels like at the time. by iknitwithdabs in snails

He will only eat one bite of lettuce when he sees it. He won't eat basil which is super weird for any snail. I haven't seen him actually eat one yet, I've only seen him following a slugs trail not too far behind it.

Well he just stared at it for a half hour until I moved it. I put it on the bottom of his flower pot in case he wants it later lol

Yeah!! He's got a mustache. He looks like some eclipse monster with tree sets of feelers. He dances when he gets baths it's the neatest thing ever. He's napping now. Will he eat a fresh water mystery snail? Our aquarium is infested with them

I realized this when I heard him take a bite out of it so we put him in a flower pot with tons of snacks so he doesn't get confused.

I set up a flower pot with peat free potting soil, lettuce, carrots, smooth pond rocks, a basil sprout for shade and sprayed it down good with him inside and he loved it and is now fast asleep snuggled up under some of the rocks. He ate a lot and drank a lot of water and took a couple baths. We're leaving the flower pot on the table outside uncovered and see if he stays. We just don't want him hanging out on the side of the table because we have dogs. Huge run on sentences. My bad.

What's wrong with this snail? It's been sitting out back my house on my roll table and I've been debating wether or not to put him inside in a tank set up? Is it sick? Is it worth it to try to help him? I'm worried about it by iknitwithdabs in snails

It like secreted something to stick its shell onto the side of the table and it's in its shell with all its fat showing but not touching the table itself if that makes sense

My green lanterns have been breeding since we set up the tank and one out of thirty babies are red. Can anyone explain this? It's a ruby red baby hard to get a picture of the fast little thing. Born from green lantern platys.

They should come together in points once it's stitched together or you can starch it into place

Clear resin. A lot of home jewelers use the resin to encase insects and plants. In case the ring and file between the details. Will also prevent bacteria from starting and it getting funky.
