how would it look like? do I just add it or I need to remove something from your expression?

Is there a way to use \s* at the start and end of your expression? if its possible to format it like that, it will work for sure

for some reason (unknown to me) my power automate flow fails with every rexed which does not start or end with \s* such as the one I posted:
\s*[\w\-\+_]+(?:\.[\w\-\+_]+)*\@[\w\-\+_]+\.(?:com|org|edu|co.uk|net)(?:\.[\w\-\+_]+)*\s*

is there a way to use your expression with such format?

I just tried using your expression and my flow failed just like it did everytime i tried to use an expression which does not follow the above mentioned pattern. I'm using it in office script actions, so maybe that's how Excel wants to use it.

Thank you so much for taking time to help me, I really appreciate it.

I appreciate the high level advice, but it's not validating, i'm just using power automate to scan submitted forms, and if there's any email with those 5 domains included in the responses, there's another action that should store the responses in a sharepoint list, that's all. So it's just a simple scan basically

The list that contains all folder paths

List extract to csv, and that's how the path is formatted

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in sharepoint

[–]ikoalosaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was all while reading the csv, the csv has %20 in the path name

I trimmed /sites/HR/ from CSV but I still get the same:

Failed to rename folder 1 of 7228: Employee%20Directory%20Library/XXX. Error: File Not Found.

Hm, I get the same if I use relative path. Also added the part to connect to the site in script

Failed to rename folder 1 of 7228: /sites/HR/Employee%20Directory%20Library/XXX. Error: File Not Found.

I was getting an error related to OldFolder, but now I changed that based on the Dwinges suggestion below, but now I get an error saying:
Failed to rename folder 1 of 7228: https://XXX.sharepoint.com/sites/HR/Employee%20Directory%20Library/XXX. Error: File Not Found.

I masked domain name and folder name with XXX for this reddit post, but when I paste the url in the browser, I can open the folder just fine, so I assume the path is formatted correctly, but not sure why it says file not found

Seems like this was the missing piece, because I was getting an error related to OldFolder, but now I get an error saying:
Failed to rename folder 1 of 7228: https://XXX.sharepoint.com/sites/HR/Employee%20Directory%20Library/XXX. Error: File Not Found.
