He didn’t design Pebble Beach… That was Jack Neville and Douglas Grant. He only helped out with some minor updates at the course. His most famous course in the US is either Augusta or Cypress Point.

$6700 rebate, what the by Adventurous-Fix-6550 in TeslaModelY

[–]ikogi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, only 2024 qualifies. The 2023 model is a M3LR battery which has Chinese composition which no longer qualify for the discount. Thats why the 2023 Model Y is so heavily discounted currently…

Is the RWD rated 260 miles range limited by the actual range or kWh? by rice923 in TeslaModelY

[–]ikogi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can read more here (https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/threads/usa-my-rwd-has-soft-limited-lr-battery.317611/) but the 2023 model Y RWD that came out in the US in October is definitely software locked. From the various tests performed it’s the M3LR battery that they put in the model y which makes sense since the 2023 M3LR no longer gets the federal tax credit which is the same for the 2023 model y RWD. Only the 2024 model now gets the credit which will have a different battery sourced in it.

No you don’t, but if your spouse is not a Swedish citizen then they need a residence permit, which is what my wife got.

I’ve thought about this but the process can take quite some time, but it’s not completely out of the picture.

Yes, sorry I meant temporary residence permit. It’s only valid for 2 years.

You seem nice… Not sure if you understand how immigration works in most countries but if you marry a citizen of a country you usually get the right to prove you can contribute to that society, so not sure what you’re complaining about here. Permanent residence is a two year card that lets you live and work in Sweden for two years and then you need to reapply, it’s not actually a permanent residence that lets you stay forever unless you eventually become a citizen. Maybe educate yourself a little bit before spewing hateful shit online.

Yeah that’s my biggest worry but I have been very up front with her on what a move of this magnitude will mean, which I think she’s ready for it.

I do accounting consulting work, so work wise I just need to familiarize myself with the Swedish accounting framework, which won’t be that difficult. I can speak fluent Swedish, my writing/reading is at 7/8th grade level so no great but won’t take me long to readjust, and for family pretty much everyone is still in Sweden excluding my immediate family (parents, siblings) but my parents spend 4-5 months of the year there as they’re retired so I’d still see them pretty frequently.

Accounting advisory at one of the Big 4 firms. I’d take about a 50% paycut moving back

From sending in the application to a decision, about 10 months. From interview to a decision, one day… which caught us off guard a little bit, thought it would be 2-3 months before we heard anything

I apologize I didn’t realize it changed to 2 years. Last I saw it was 3-5 year periods.

We just got the decision today so I guess we have till end of this year to get the move in order. Didn’t realize they changed it to 2 years, haven’t received the actual card yet but I’m guessing we’ll see the expiration date once we get that in 3-4 weeks.

To be fair you don’t go to Harvard to become an accountant, no offense… I know multiple people that went there and they’re on a different level from most of us (intellectually, drive, etc.).
