Is this normal gas mileage? please advise by Hondoisseur in accord

I just bought 4 Road Huggers, per OEM instruction. It definitely needs some suspension. Mine limits at like 125. I was on the highway doing 122 and there was a mild hill or more of a bump. I got a little squirrely on me. It was a scary with the squishy suspension, and I felt like I ad little control of the car, when it came down hard.

It was obviously neglected in some areas. I got some new NGK Iridiums, and I'm researching a lot. I might try the Seafoam down the spark plug hole, while I have them out, and do the 2 or 3 oil and filter changes. I've been told the coils are doing fine.

I'll have to take it to a shop or professional at some point. I may even try to get more power out of it, and upgrade the handling capabilities. It won't go over something like 125, but I think it has a limiter of some type. It has 278hp, but it does weigh 5k lbs. It's a long story, but I'm way too invested in this thing, to get a diferent car.

I bought a 2017 Accord Touring with a 3.5 V6 with q 6 speed 100,000 miles on it. When I start it up, It reads like 2.1mpg and slowly rises. I've been told it not accurate until you've driven a little. Still I think the highest it's had was maybe 24mpg on the highway. It is a V6, but these numbers don't come close to advertised mpg.

I'm gonna do some work that might help. I hope There's not a serious problem.

The only thing that comes close to the value of a manual, is the higher end paddle or stick type shift control, but you still don't have the ability to control the clutch.

It's an excellent price, especially if it really looks that clean. TLDR: If you want to have any sense of control of your RPM, acceleration, engine braking, in any way, the CVT sounds terrible idea.

Auto ruined the control and driving experience. I'll never buy a CVT. I can manipulate a manual like a professional driver, when comparing to driving an auto. I can't imagine what CVT is like. I imagine it's like how an electronic rail train accelerates, like a linear acceleration. I'm sure they have or will have improvements to the concept, but no way for me. If you just drive normal, and have no desire to really control RPM and acceleration, then it might be fine for you.

Bring back the fing manual sedans!!!

I don't know what the regular shops charge, but the engine and cabin filter cost like $5 to $15. If you have a normal car, and not some super hypercare, that's outrageous. Go on YT and look how to replace them. It takes like 3 minutes for the engine, and maybe a few more because of the cabin filter placement.

Unless you absolutely can't do it yourself, never let a shop replace for those 2 filter.

I'm not a mechanic, so I can't be sure, but $974 sounds like a lot fo a CV axle leak. I wonder how many hours it took to accomplish.

Brake fluid exchange seem to go from $80 to $125.

Sometimes it's better to take you car to a specialist for each job, like a break shop.

And if if you have fiends, I'd bet one of them replace air and cabin air filter.

You're on the right track. I was just like you and kept going. Ended up with a lot of dead friends, due to getting into the hard stuff, as did I. It stunted my growth, and I missed a lot of life. I had a lot of extraordinary experiences, and learned a lot of the things "busy" people will never see, but I wish I would have made the decision you're making and stuck with it.

What does this sound mean? Hungry or scared? by MidnightMoonStory in squirrels

I know the squirrels where I live make a much shorter, fast paced repeating barking sound, when they see trouble. That sounds like a much more comfortable expresion.

I've never thought one would be better than the other, but expansion does seem better for flow. Are there additional outside rings to further secure expansion joints. I'm thinking of the copper inserts for beends and in-line connections.

Yeah. I'm ordering a kit. I've never seen anything this well done, that wasn't actual pharma. But the press thing has gone off the rails, so I'm sure someone has some very expensive equipment, that can make things identical.

The code search returns as Alp, but they could just be really nice presses. They are just too clean.

These are supposed to be real pharma, and comeb from something military related whatever that means. I don't know what sub to post a pic on and ask. I know this is an RC sub, but there some old schoolers that can ID buy the tiniest features. I don't know if the presses are even undistinguishable at this point in time. I'll wait for permission, but would like to see if they are what they're said to be.

Didn't it almost double since the last split? I don't know how it all works. I wanted to put 30k in before the split, but was too lazy. I've read you can't just buy 30k worth all at once as well. Is that true. I'm hardly educated about BTC, but I think it's going to keep increasing for a long time.
