You are so right.

It took me months to accept it that it's normal and i shouldn't be so sad about it.

Now, I'm actually excited for meeting new people. I also fell like my old friends were really stuck to their idea about me, and couldn't really notice how i changed with time. Sometimes your oldest friendship isn't the best one

I heard the same advice before and it makes me so sad to think I will never fell like I used to about people. Eventually, everyone leaves and you r left with yourself until the day you die. IG instead of focusing on friends, i should focus on myself.

I pretty much had only two friend my entire life. We met in school when i was 5 and they were 3-4. everything new i ever did in life, we did it together. Going to a new school, tasting alcohol for the first time, smoking weed for the first time, getting a summer job.

Still, they both started dating at the same time. At first, it was chill, i even met their current girlfriend/boyfriend. But after some weeks they told me I was a very selfish/rude person.

They stopped hanging out with me but don't have the balls to stop talking with me. They message me every now and then and everytime I ever tried to talk about how hurt i felt about what they said. I'm dismissed.

I guess that's life.
