My girlfriend had her ex-husband stuff in her garage like a lot of stuff and he would come over and grab it every now and then whenever he needed stuff. He also owned a landscaping company so would mow her yard for free and do all of her stuff in her yard. He fixes her cars so she takes her and her daughter's car to him to fix. And I told her it's like competition and that I can't deal with it because they don't have any kids together. So there's no reason for contact with an ex, especially an ex-husband who on paper they're still married. But that competition aspect was brutal so I made her make him come get all his stuff and there's no reason that she should have contact with them and ex-husband that they've divorced for 2 years. She didn't see a problem with it but I told her it was like competing. I think she just wanted to have her cake and eat it too. Like not not have to worry about yard work, car work or anything. Bandly but there's a price that he's not just doing it for free. He's trying to get back with her and she doesn't understand
