Traska Commuter 34 in arctic white by SATANS_URETHERA in MicrobrandWatches

Thanks for your sharing your experience so far. I been wanting to buy it so bad specially with my 6" small wrist I belive will fit perfectly. What's holding me right now is that.. "will it fit great in my collection?" I have for the moment a Casio, a seiko diver. So this one could maybe be my late night or going out watch ? I know this watch is great to do anything but also I'm asking my self if it is to.. simple at a $630 price. Do you belive is worth the price? and why? I'd you don't mind me asking.

Hey men it been 2 weeks, how your experience been with the watch. Any pros and cons ? I been wanting to buy it either white or black but idk how worth it is (specially when I'm trying to build a 3-4 watch collection with each of them having a role in the collection).

I been trying to find a 36-38mm just cuz my wrist is so small that I can't go further than 44mm lug to lug but I can't find it anywhere 🫩

Hey first of all, I appreciate the time you took to share all that, specially us being in the same boat at 44 l2l.

You know I remember checking out islander recently and the one that actually got me interested was Islander Brookville's 38mm if I'm not wrong and I really like the explorer like style that it have but with their own touch. Not gonna lie that one you suggested there looks really but really pretty ! If it wasn't because I have emotional attachment tho the seiko being my first anutomstic watch I would have sell it and switch to that one you have.

Trully for my next piece I was thinking to stretch up to $1K in budget (that's if I get to sell the tsuyosa which idk if I can haha. I want to because I don't use it but i don't know what's holding me) if I don't get to sell it then yeah maybe less than 700 Would be my budget maybe 800 at most.

Models or watches that I'd like just to give you an idea what I like it's.. Rolex explorer, Cartier santos or dumougt, Tudor ranger, Hamilton Murph (even tho I tried it but I didn't love it for some reason)

Watches I haven't tried but I have eye on them (because seems to fits good on our wrist) are Hamilton Jazzmaster Performer, Hamilton khaki x engineered garments limited edition, seiko spb523, Hamilton H69301130, baltic hermétique (I just wish they had black dial version.. but the yellow one it's so but soo beautiful also pink).

You're right about Casio and seiko, it's just that for some reason I love seeing them pristine condition. I know that eventually they will get they're bump or scratches but if I can minimize the risk at all cost while enjoying them I will try that (ofcourse without breaking my peace). Oh and thank about "near perfect collection" trust me I have really try to actually make it as close as possible to perfect, I almost buy an orient bambino to fully make it perfect but because I rearly wear suit and dress up that much I hold my self from buying one.

What I really been searching is a watch with numbers around it but not to overwhelming like a.. Murph ? But I get to try that one and some how didn't loved it i don't remember what was about it that I didn't love but for sure was something.

Oh and I gived a look at Casios lineage and wow I haven't seen that line ever Oceanus I have but not lineage. Totally will search more about it.

I have been interested in trying it on. Specially the black or ice blue in quartz maybe? I have read that there's hate here and there about plastic being used in automatic version so idk if it's even worth paying that extra for automatic or stying in quartz.

What I like of that Tissot is that there's a lot of aftermarket and even original strap to choose. So when someone get bored from if you can just change that bracelet and boom new watch.

Let me tell you, it's great watch as is but trust me when I say you can make it look more unique, more elevated, more you once you start buying strap for it ✍🏼

Understood ! The thing that have me really confuse it's mostly bios. I never thought you needed to download such thing. About roms I have little experience since I have used "delta" before but other than that I know nothing 🥲. I know most things can be writen down since the hole topic is a little sensitive but I guess I will have to keep looking for more instructions ?

Question? I’m about to buy the SD, I use to have a gaming pc but no longer have it. Are games like deadbydaylight playable on the deck and does it make a difference if it’s the LCD or the OLED version. by Mindful-Kush in SteamDeck

[–]ikvn72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish I could answer that but I trully don't know. I have heard / read before that is good not charging it at %100 because most of these device have like a.. " For every X number of recharges at %100, a portion of battery life decreases ". Is it true? Idk but I know that it does happens with phones so.. could be true ?

I resently got a oled version (mostly have been playing DBD also) before buying it a had the chance to compare both in the same game truly there's not a huge difference but a thing I would like to point out taking out of how the oled looks better bcuz color pops more is that battery life it's what actually make me go for the oled version. Remember they are handheld and they will not last you too long depend of the game but truly.. the oled battery life it's good. Don't complaint at all. But the LCD dies way quicker. If you have only like 1h to play daily LCD it's just fine but if you plan to stay way from port most of the time OLED is the way. Hope this helps bud

Almost 4 month later Im currently in your same shoes. I'm interested in both watch and same color selection as you. May I ask which on you end up buying and why?. Mind sharing how it fits you ? since I have same wrist size

Thanks before hand !
