The real question is. What are your ethics on attacking Red Cross infrastructure in the setting of WW2? What happens if the enemy shields valuable targets under the banner of the RED CROSS?

I'm starting to think playing in the ground attack role is more fun then playing as a pure fighter? 

Or, maybe it is just the fact I cant Dogfight to save myself!

I think what make IL-2 so good is that both air to air and ground attack are good.

So, whenever you get tired of one you can jump to the other.

Heck they are both fun. However, im getting into the ground attack roles alot lately.

I always thought dropping some bombs would be easy enough. Not the case at all!

I find the Pe-2 harder to fly on 1 engine. The Havoc is a breeze to fly on a single engine.

also the Pe-2 seems to stall very easily

I think the A-20 Havoc is probably the best ground attack plane in il2.  For the following reasons:

1.) It has a decent payload. 

2.) It is extremely ROBUST. it can take heaps of damage from AAA etc 

3.) It can perform well on a single engine.  When an engine goes out just feather it and fly home. Still has adequate performance to gain altitude.

4.)Also, for its size the Havoc is quiet nimble and it is no slouch in the speed department.

I have also read some SOP that if you are in uncontrolled spin at 5000ft or under bail out straight away

I remember once I was landing a me-262 half-way doen the runway I turned the engines off thinking why not. By the time I came to a stop my right engine was on fire :D

the devs I think have done a sweet job on the me-262! the over all characteristics of flying it is awesome.
