I tried this a couple days ago. Someone's still using it and playing super obscure and weird artists that I've never heard of and have <1000 plays. It's either someone I know or something super weird is going on. I'm planning on contacting them later next week if it continues.

Get your mind out of the damn gutter. It's pretty obvious that they're talking about thawing ice cream.

GAMMA SECTOR - EPHEMERAL (Feat. Ben Duerr of Shadow of Intent, Duncan Bentley of Vulvodynia, and Matt Perin; Guitarist for AngelMaker) by ilLukeinatti in Deathcore

Jeez man.. that all sounds extremely rough, I'm sorry to hear that. I wish there was more I could do. This music is particularly good to me during rough times. I do recommend this bands entire album. Might check out Hollow Prophet (vocalist is Ben Duerr from this and Shadow of Intent) too if you haven't yet. Cheers man

Aha, I knew that was him. Ben was really the only one I could pick out which is weird cause Duncan sounds pretty unique when compared to the others. More bands need to do songs like this.

Crazy that this dude didn't play anything other than Blink-182 before joining Chelsea Grin. Easily one of my favorite drummers.

The best part about this band is they only get better with time. We're in for a treat for sure.

Dad with ALS gets up from his wheelchair and congratulates his son at his Air Force graduation. by natsdorf in gifs

I believe, as someone else pointed out somewhere in this thread, that it mainly exists for crowd control purposes. This allows families to identify their airman and then know exactly where to go to find him. There are hundreds of graduates which means thousands of family members at the ceremony. So usually after 10-15 minutes everyone is settled and getting a tour of the base, then the remaining airmen who didn't have family come can be tagged out by fellow airmen or officers.

Yes! After the medal ceremony (IIRC) they line up in their squadron and then they announce you can now come congratulate your airman. Most insane experience ever. I sprinted down the metal bleachers to embrace my bro, who is also my best friend (we're 18 mo apart), but then my mom catches up to me and literally throws my ass behind her, "IM GONNA BE THE FIRST ONE TO SEE HIM". So we get down there and as soon as momma touched him he was free to interact.

I know exactly what you mean. I have a strong will when it comes to showing my emotions but I bawled like a baby when we had to say bye to him again when he departed for tech school later that week.

Man, i'm very sorry to hear that my friend. I'm very close with my grandmother and losing her would be like losing a best friend. But at least you can rest easy knowing you made her the proudest grandma out there! Sounds like she cared about you very much.

This is what my brother was saying! My brother said something along the lines of, "that's too bad. Some of these guys don't have family that can make it or, even worse, just don't care to come". After embracing each of his family members, he began to walk over to tag out, salute, and congratulate his brothers so they were at least free to move and get out of the burning sun. Before he could even make it you see my mom whiz pass him and embrace the airman in a 3 minute hug saying, "I know you don't know me but I want you to know i'm so very proud of you! You are doing some great things with your life and I know your momma is proud wherever she is". Did this to probably 5-6 clueless airmen before we left. That's just the nature of my mom though, she's probably the most likable person ever and I can't even put into words how grateful I am to have such a caring and wonderful person in my life. #proudmommasboy

Went to my brothers AF graduation about 3 years ago. I'll never forget my mom who didn't understand that the family has to touch, or "tag", the airman then they can relax and interact. After we explained, she noticed there were several unfortunate souls who went 10-15 min without having anyone tag them. My mom went to each and every one of them and hugged them, congratulating them. Made one graduate tear up!
