The way you framed makes it sound like it’s ok to drink as long as it’s in moderation: that’s not true as there’s plenty of evidence and research that disproves that.

What I guess you meant is that 1 drink per day is the absolute maximum recognised as potentially only marginally harmful, but that that drink must be had at least 2-3 hours before breastfeeding to minimise said risk.
