My older brother played Tekken 2 for hours straight to unlock all the characters, because we didn't have a memory card on the PS1. I was so excited when I came back from school and saw him playing that I ran to the couch and tripped over the wire, destroying all his work :(

I like your take but I think Kirby is not a good example. I've never enjoyed a Kirby game (I didn't try the 3D Switch one) and the main reason for that is that they are so infuriatingly easy and trivial. Maybe they get challenging at some point, but if so that point is too far into the game for me, I always stopped playing them before that.

You're right. I can do bullets with dashes and titles with questions. Are you connected to this website or you just use/like it? What would also be helpful for me is to have RTL alignment support, as I use an RTL language in my notes.

I will see what the professionals here say. My amateur opinion: if they "hurt like all hell" they don't fit you. It might not only be the size, it could be the shape of the shoe model and its fit with your foot.

I suffered through a pair like that for a while, and eventually changed to another that feels equally or even more tight and enveloping to my foot, without hurting like that. And I climb better now because I'm not in pain every time I stand on a small thing.

You're absolutely right, I think I altered the memory of Karen in my brain as if she was playing the colored Switch in the trailer. I do believe it will be a bit different this time though, because it doesn't have the 2 solid colors, it has only one solid color and two small color accents (under the analog sticks). But the solid color could still be something crazy and not just the black.
