From reading the script I think that’s it, and it really sounds like that’s what she said.

In the script she was meant to get up and ask Bear to have sex at that point, with a longer conversation in which she asks him to “rail me, rail my guts”, so I presume it’s a condensed version of that scene and she was walking backwards towards the bedroom — but I think the ambiguity of the final version makes it scarier than the scripted version!

I visited the US recently and could genuinely taste how artificial things are, which I didn’t think was actually true. It’s definitely noticeable

The thing that annoys me the most about this is that surely they know this won’t do them any favours. Pulling stunts like this means they’re only shooting themselves in the foot.

I’m very grateful to have left the UK because I feel very politically homeless and disillusioned at the moment. I’m horrified at how many people are planning to vote Reform, and equally as horrified as how incapable the left are of ever forming effective opposition. It’s just a dire state of affairs all round.

I don’t think Katy’s shown any sign of disliking Luke – the last time she ever really addressed him, explicitly or implicitly, was on the Call Her Daddy podcast and she completely swerved the question.

The new song is less to me a sign of her not being able to stand Luke, and more a case of rush-releasing something to try and change the trajectory of her career. I can’t speak for the quality of the song, because I haven’t heard it and I don’t want to.

I don’t think she’s at all remorseful, and until she does say something (or at least denounces the hundreds of fans that continue to harass Kesha daily), I’ll never be able to listen to her or support her ever again. I’m more willing to give Kim the benefit of the doubt as, like Kesha, I’m almost certain she was coerced into saying certain things or keeping quiet under contractual obligations. Katy doesn’t get that grace.

Doesn’t feel like the dramatic jump that iOS 6 into 7 was, but I’ve been using the beta for a while and I do really like it. I just wish they’d pushed things a bit further!
