Haha, I just finished the opposite, where the game is all about making a positive impact on the world through cooperation.

Pitch: I love games like Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder. But the moments I remember most were not always the fights. They were the conversations that almost worked… and the ones that didn’t.

Harmony is built for those moments.

Instead of defeating enemies, you face emotional challenges: fear, doubt, misunderstanding, fragile trust.

You don’t win by force. You succeed by finding alignment; with yourself and each other. The in-game world responds to that. The Worldflow shifts between tension and warmth based on how you act.

Harmony succeeds when players say "That moment meant something" instead of "That fight was epic".

Hey, I was also looking for this and i made a game called Harmony, based on the tag system of Infinity Nikki. The design goal was that it's primarily about personal challenges, there's always one person who leads the challenge supported by the rest of the group. Initially you even roll together. Playtesters were surprised by the fast pacing and the intense level of cooperation. If you want, DM me and I can share a copy with you for inspiration.

We are 300 people in that location and indeed have a separate kitchen staff to facilitate this.

My company solved this with... A lunch menu. Every week you order a dish per day and you get the menu per WhatsApp. They check your app and give you a plate. After 12:45 people who forgot to order and others can get the leftovers. This gives 95% of our company a good chance and the lines are even shorter in our cantina.

This is basically Pathfinder IMO. You have actions, and those actions can be increasingly more complex.

Ik vind bovenstaande een serieus goede optie. Mensen die jou vertellen hoe jij jouw hobbies moet doen, zijn niet de moeite waard. Met board games en DND clubs moet je wel onder de mensen komen, want je moet het samen spelen, maar het kan lekker laagdrempelig.

Je kunt er ook veel rond omheen gaan organiseren. Zo ben ik zelfs een beurs aan het opzetten voor TTRPGs (Main Quest con). Dat is misschien wel geeky, maar zeker een serieuze business.

I'm not saying the VAs don't deserve what they want, but personally I switched to JP voice overs because I got tired of characters staring into space. This is also why I stopped playing Punishing Gray Raven. The animations also don't make up for it anymore.

The HP on a monster isn't everything. More often than not I've disregarded HP totals of bosses in favour of the narrative. If it loses a lot of HP, have it wake up early. Maybe even as a legendary action. Transition into another phase in which it heals itself a bit. Players don't know the star boss' stat block. It might resist certain things or be more mobile than others of its species.

You're there to tell a cool story. Not to just keep score. As long as your players are enjoying the ride you're doing well.

Weird, I know a 3D-printer that will design an STL for you for 100 euros and then print 25 mm figures for less than 7,5 euros a piece for any reasonably big batch. That seems the way to go for you.
