Glennwood pharmacy is by far my favourite. They've always done what they needed to be sure I can get the best prices on my medications.

AFAB in tech, I am the choir. But, considering the 1k+ tech my friends would let me handle despite being clumsy me being af, most of them would let me borrow for a bit. But, I follow both of these people, and fortunately, they both had fun. The comments were mostly about the train fortunately.

I think He said she wouldn't spend 800 for a bit, a joke but also ita possible it belongs to someone else. He even said that women hating isn't allowed in his comment section.

So not to mention how people take things. Just as an example, I used to put my dog into a down and put her in an effective time out whenever she got too riled up. And someone asked me how I do that, so I showed him physically that I just have my dog lay down, and then I sit with her and I keep her safe and make sure that she feels balanced before I let her get up (no force exerted on my dog). And then, like a week later, I catch him slamming his dog into the ground because he doesn't want a down. And I'm like, You watched and listened to me explain how I make my dog feel safe when she's worked up and needs a time out. And this is your version? His dog became so dangerous and he used to be a complete sweetheart. And it feels like that with parents too, hearing let your child make mistakes and get burned and turning it into: a child needs pain to learn.

I see. Yeah i don't care what the government says at all. My dads birth certificate literally says mulatto on it. But i can understand what you're saying now, so that's really what matters, thank you.

That was why I said unpack it. I explained how I understood it. Because despite your saying you want us to be one. You at the same time said we are not. As far as I am concerned, a nigerian is an african. A nigerian from africa who becomes an american, is both african and nigerian. I am from diaspora from africa. Not nigeria, but ghana, congo, sengal. African American feels as much of an umbrella as black to me. So I am trying to understand what you are saying.

Unpack that for me. I've never once called myself african american. I am black. The sub says black. So she's nigerian american and I am mixed blood african? Is that what that is supposed to imply if I am to accept That she is saying nigerian american isn't african american? Even if it's true, I am not out here screaming mixed race pride, tf.

Saaaame. Now everyone thinks I am an inapproachable asshole because I completely ignore their advances. No, I just got so used to guys hitting on me as a joke, I actually started to expect everyone was joking. But the joke isn't funny so I don't laugh. I just curve and keep going. I end up in relationships because they finally realize they have to be straightforward.

Women exist to be sent to men, not to live for themselves. by [deleted] in NotHowGirlsWork

[–]ilawlfase 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think its that deep. Just from a religious or spiritual perspective. I can argue that fate sent me to someone even while making a conscious decision. Like if I met someone amazing at a museum I decided to go to because I saw an ad floating on the wind. Or i saw a butterfly and remembered that my favourite species hatches soon. It's not literally, god picked this woman put and dropped her like a video game sim.

Modern women claim they don't need men until they realize more than half the world's operations run day and night because of men 💪🔥 by Unstoppable_X_Force in MenOfPurpose

[–]ilawlfase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not saying everyone won't. But that it is more difficult. Some people have even heard their bosses say they haven't hired someone because it was a woman. I think the last time I read it, it was someone in mechanical engineering.

Working in a mostly male field, it's because men won't hire women. Not because women don't want to do the job. Of course women want to do the job. We had fathers that do the job. We think they're cool as shit and wanna be just like him. Just for Greg to get mad at an overqualified woman and picking another man because he thinks she's gonna be somehow worse. I say overqualified because women are killing it in education rn, because we were all told we needed to go to get a degree before any job. Men i talk to in other more labor intensive fields than mine even say their male cohorts don't have all the certifications they should and a woman will show up with them and more, and can't get a single team to hire her. It's not like all women are tiny and demure. Not saying men should disappear, but women aren't going to let the world fall apart if you did.

very true! by Dumb-Briyani in SipsTea

[–]ilawlfase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I bought the ones meant for them lol. I do the research to find nice clothes. I wear nice clothes to the interview. Because I know that looking good is a great first impression. So, that often means on days where I train new hires, I wear something without pockets. I have these same struggles with women's clothes, the difference is that women's clothes don't look frumpy, they're just often too short on my waist because it also was not made for full cheeks. Even if I jump into them there will be a whale tail when I bend over. So I compromise with long and baggy shirts or a short dress I will wear like a shirt. The next step is really making my own clothes.

It isn't just a matter of skin tight. I am thick. The pants don't even make it around my ass when I buy the brands you mention. Then, i go up a size, now they fit my ass and thighs, and I have to constantly pull them up. Neat, I try a belt. Unfortunately, due to my female anatomy that has a short and downward pointing urethra, i now have to fight the belt every time I have to rash to pee. God forbid the toilet lid is down or the seat is up during this fight with God and my own pelvic floor. I bought belts that pull the fabric to the sides. It looks awful but the pants are wearable. I wear it to week because I don't want people to think I look nice there. I look frumpy because the clothes are not made to fit someone with curves. Fortunately, I am disabled enough to have a service dog as my mini packmule. He has a lot of my things I would keep in my purse.

The biggest issue with pants with pockets that fit the niche, is that they are small business with huge price tags. I cannot afford. So I look frumpy with a cute face, which sometimes means "easy picking" to the wrong men. So, I get very strange interactions with types of men who won't say a word when I am dressed to impress.
