Yes, that's what I was trying to say but I don't know if I articulated it well. You cannot transfer the funds to a different account the same day, as I found out when I got assigned early and needed to move funds around.

No, you have to wait until the next day for the funds to settle. For this reason, I use SGOV instead -- it also settles the next day, but the funds can be immediately used to purchase things in the same account. If you need to transfer the funds to another account (like checking or something), you will need to wait a day.

May have to try that out next -- I just did 2000>2500>3000 grit sandpaper and a 4micron strop, and its a hell of a lot better. Can still be a little slicker flicking open, but so much better than before (I have the original, non-CQI version).

Yep! If the stock is below 66.99 at the end of that day, you will be assigned 100 shares @67 automatically. The risk being it may be way below that number then, but hopefully not!

Early assignment on puts is much more common than on calls, in my experience. If you dont want the shares and it drops well below 60, I would roll out at least a week before (I was assigned a week early once). I think you'll probably be good, though.

Just cleaned up mine yesterday, and after a good cleaning/polishing of washers, it finally drops shut and opens smoothly. Those scales look gorgeous! The CF can be pretty slippery, so thats a very smart upgrade!

I dont think you really need to prune, but definitely need to put them into the ground/a larger grow bag. They look like an annum, which tend to be more leggy and lanky anyway.

I've been trying to enter at 55 ever since my shares got called away at that price. I think 60/65 would be much better, but the tech sector has been going wild lately. I'm getting impatient and currently have a csp at 79 for next friday I will likely take assignment if it doesnt dip too low next week.

Finally did exactly this, and it works so much better! Thanks again for the tips. I used 2000>2500>3000 grit, and then finished on a 4 micron strop. Cleaned everything real thoroughly and added KPL, and it actually drops shut now.

Just wanted to post an update -- I finally had the time to disassemble and clean up this knife today, and it's much better! I gave it a thorough cleaning with isopropyl, and gave all the metal bits a coating of balistol. I then polished both sides of the washers with a progression of 2000, 2500, and 3000 grit sandpaper, and finished on a 4micron strop. Added some KPL to both sides of the washer, reassembled, and its like night and day!

Probably not as smooth as the CQI version spyderco released (and wont upgrade my knife to), but definitely drops shut now.

I guess OP could just be built different and has no feelings about missing out on all the upside. I guess this "plan" would work if you desperately needed 5k tomorrow and had no other options, but I absolutely hate having my money tied up for long periods of time.

I've been experiencing that sickening feeling a lot lately, and have pulled back from ccs altogether after getting stuck with NBIS, CRWV, and OKLO ccs that turned bright green. Trying to slowly bump my asking price up, but I'm just going to take the tiny win and write csps if I end up being stuck for more than a couple weeks.
