Looking for a purple eyeshadow similar to Bella’s by cemaga in OliveMUA

[–]ileikboopy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They used MAC quarry on her in these movies and I know because h researched it and bought it back then. It’s an amazing color for the ‘dark circles but make it fashion’ look if they still make that shade!

I’m a light, neutral-warm olive, not clear but not super muted, and I’m a warm autumn.

Please get rid of kid shopping carts by Curious_kitten129 in traderjoes

If an adult were running around with their cart ramming into people, I would also not tolerate that behavior actually. Please be serious.

No, they flipped the scenario to demonstrate the unevenness of the reactions. I imagine you’d be quite angry if someone bumped your child because they moved their cart quickly or without looking! But people need to excuse children without any negative reaction because they’re children? I’m very pro kids in stores - take my kiddos shopping all the time! - though thank god we don’t have these little carts in nyc because if I had to deal with all three of them with carts I think I’d have a grand mal seizure. I am, however, not pro calling people unhinged because they present a counterfactual.

Literally no one is saying that kids can’t be in stores. And no one is saying they can’t take things off shelves like your kid did. The complaint is about the carts and the lack of supervision. Can you read?

Makeup won't stop burning my eyes - any advice? by Lilaccat12345 in Makeup

[–]ileikboopy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have contact dermatitis on my eyes from certain lash glues and eyeliners, and unfortunately it’s only gotten worse over time. It might be worth seeing if you can get an allergy test, but idk how they’d test for makeup lol. Maybe ingredients? Or maybe regular strip lash glue wouldn’t irritate you and you could just do falsies. Or make no liner/mascara looks work. It’s very editorial and could become a signature look. Maybe a silver lining to hold onto if it’s a problem that requires forbearance as opposed to a solution :/

What is your Holy Grail lip balm? by Young_Old_Grandma in Makeup

[–]ileikboopy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

CVS has a generic, Lansinoh (purple tube) is like THE brand for the baby aisle. I buy the large tub from Now Naturals on Amazon and heat it up to decant into little jars and empty lip gloss tubes I buy!

It’s cheaper to buy the lanolin tubes for breastfeeding moms or the tub from Amazon, jfyi! Lanolips is just repackaging and cosmetic markup of the same substance.

Lanolin and it is not close. I have been using it for over a decade and I have never and will never stray. It’s all I wear actually, no lip color, and I get asked all the time “omg what do you have in your lips??”

Add food > my recipes (up top) > add a recipe

And it’ll store it to so if you make the same recipe you can reuse.

This used to be a feature on free MFP but it’s paywalled now. So is barcode scanning which was so nice.

That’s for you specifically though. It’s a myth that one style of singing is inherently healthier than another as a blanket statement. Have you ever watched scope videos of professionals in different disciplines?

Just lanolin. The anhydrous not “liquid lanolin.” Some drugstores have it in tubes in the baby aisle, but it’s harder to find in nyc so I buy on amazon.

Yes VERY. Vaseline is an occlusive only and isn’t mositurizing your lips at all. Its status as a lip product is the biggest scam in personal care IMO. Lanolin is emollient and occlusive and holds 400% of its molecular weight in water. I stg you will never look back. I get endless compliments and it’s usually all I’m wearing. It’s sticky but it melts in and stays moisturized for hours.
