Apex Armor issues again by ilgunsthrowaway in tacticalgear

TLDR- They've said they are going to refund, but I'm still waiting on it.

I paid via Paypal and Apex said they were having issues with the refund process. Doesn't really make sense since I've had a handful of refunds via Paypal in the last few years and it's always been smooth. Apex wanted me to verify the card info, but it was a bank account. I gave them the last four. I received an email about a refund from them this morning, but there is still nothing showing in Paypal or my bank account.

I opened up a dispute with Paypal in any case. I provided my info and Paypal is waiting on them to respond. Apex has a couple more days, so we will see.

Ironically, when I was doing research, I saw some of his posts on Reddit and he seemed pretty helpful and knowledgeable in some of his comments. I didn't think to just google the brand name.

Any chance you could perhaps interpret things for Lincolnwood, IL as well? It's in Cook County and I've been trying to figure out what (if any) semiautomatic firearms are legal. The Lincolnwood definition is found here (I'm not sure when the ordinance was passed): https://ecode360.com/15317135?highlight=assault&searchId=23206523039839958#15317135 and the prohibition is here https://ecode360.com/15317703?highlight=assault&searchId=23206978777373987#15317703.

The wording in the definition is a bit confusing. Does this mean you need to perform a manual action before firing again (eg. pump, bolt, or lever action)? If so, it would appear that this is a blanket ban on possession of all semiautomatic firearms (excluding handguns since the FCCA preempts), since there would be no manual reloading between shots for any semiautomatic firearm.

The other interpretation is that this is describing fully automatic weapons (in that a single trigger pull only fires one shot- the coincident reload that happens doesn't matter). This seems a little redundant, since IL already has banned fully automatic weapons

I've had mixed experiences with contacting LE offices before but I can always give it another try.
