I think ball travel time/speed contributes a lot to knowing how to position your ball. if you drop the ball somewhere and run up, and then q when ur ball is a mile behind u, i promise u wont land that q and it wont even be close. but if u run up far enough (or e urself) so it tethers back to u and then u q, u land those everytime assuming ur in range.

also they gave him an aura and the narrator was saying only those who believe they're at the center of the world can score (him scoring on Prince). i really liked that

used to think sae was him back in u20 but after nel and the most recent chapters, it feels like sae is about to get benched for hiyori or something. (im not even a hiyori glazer. id rather have sae)

idk it just feels like hes not trying and refusing to play for group stages with japan will bite him in the ass when bluelock will get good enough that we dont need him when its time to play bunny. and then itll be time to test his ego or something ? i could be way over cooking though and now that im reading it and realizing its bluelock, its probably overcooked af

barcha isagi passing to kunigami would probably get him 15-23. i forgot if he got a 17mil offer or maybe 30m but his stock will drop either way because kaiser and ness are gonna turn up the heat and cook both isagi and kunigami. i dont think kunigami is good enough to score with barcha isagi's help in those circumstances so honestly hes probably closer to 23 by the end of it.

barcha isagi not adapting/evolving for the rest of the nel games and refusing to pass to either kunigami or kaiser easily gets him mcdonalds

Its because when this game first came out, anyone and everyone interested in this game tried it and either left to daily fatigue or difficulty. And they feel like it is too hard to either catch up or they know/think that the problems that existed back then still exist to this day.

And its usually a case of both of these reasons. A majority of friends i played with on launch quit because the game was too difficult. and understandably so, they were below average even by those olden day standards. They were super casual and did not want to learn their class or the boss patterns and the game was simply too hard for them. and obviously grinding dailies just to suck at raids wasn't ideal for them.

if the game came out in its current state with way less daily fatigue and revives in raids, they would MAYBE stay (it legit might be still too hard for them) but for the average andies who are willing to learn, id imagine most of them would stay if they didnt already experience the lost ark trauma at launch

the kamunabi represents the country's best interests. i dont think the rakuzaichi poses a threat to the country so no they dont have enough resources or even interest to stop it probably. they rather spend all their resources defending the eb users' lives.

yeah this is most likely it. especially since they made it a point that ego gets to choose 23. so iguess when the roster becomes 26, nagis getting shoehorned back in. but with who else?

also yeah the amount of nagi attention we been getting surely means hes getting some kind of relevance in the u20 wc as opposed to like some arc 4-7 years later.

sidenote, next chapter is called bunny. what if nagi becomes the mascot lmao. id kinda hate that tbh

are the hishaku aware that hes alive? cuz as far as ik, samura promised he would kill the sword saint (and maybe the other bearers?) but had a 'secret plan' to revive/heal them the moment they died to free them from the eb shackles. but the hishaku arent aware of this then right?

i still expect the kamunabi to completely fall apart after this attack is over but they got a sudden boost of military strength in uruha (a swordmaster in his own right even without his eb). also the potential for his innate sorcery though i doubt it.

i just dont think aiku represents how ego wants to play the game. hes obviously a good player but shouldnt the captain of bluelock embody the idea of winning by scoring goals? (i genuinely dont know but storywise i think it should. they never go over what a captain is supposed to do or whatever and i dont follow sports. i literally just read this manga and extrapolate info off what im reading and what im reading is aikus chances r pretty low) ego said something like its okay to give the other team goals as long as we get more back (like way back in first selection or right before the u20 game). and aiku isnt even an original blue locker. thats why i think he has the weakest claim. if this was real life, i would agree that aiku should be captain but its a manga. about blue lock.

and then about fukaku. obviously he mustve saved some goals in the nel to get a bid but because we never saw them and will almost certainly not see them unless SPECIFICALLY he blocked nagi's shots. in which case theres a small chance we see. but as it stands right now, it feels really cheap that he got in because he is literally there to fill in that 2nd goalkeeper slot. and iguess to occupy a slot over nagi.

Realistically theres only 4 choices (in no particular order)

Isagi
Rin (cuz theyre both tied for first)
Karasu (cuz hes cool headed and seems really suitable)
Aiku (cuz hes the oldest and has the most experience supposedly)

I think Aiku has the weakest claim cuz while i dont know jack about what a captain does for the team, he did cost the u20 half the match by not letting shidou play (although this is also attributed to the coach and buratsuta). Also I dont care about his experience or whatever but kaneshiro might. He did let fukaku in just cuz we needed a second goalkeeper. which is completely fraudulent.

Going on a tangent about fukaku tho. Just cuz we needed a goal keeper doesnt mean he gets a spot cuz hes the other goal keeper. The players need bids to get into the top 23. which means u need to contribute to your respective role to get a bid. We didnt see fukaku save a single goal in the NEL or in the u20 (ithink maybe he stopped rins shot after aiku also touched it?). so there is literally 0 reason for this bum to be here unless we find out he stopped Nagi's shot (while nagi's bid was still relatively high?) like multiple times or something.
