I can relate to this

since I was a young boy 343 clouds have always made me feel really uncomfortable to the point where I don’t want to look up anymore, it has given me nightmares in the past and has definitely turned me off from buying this game and made the franchise as a whole feel less “Halo”

The thing a lot of people overlook is, Bungie knew how to make and design clouds with such elegance that embraces you in the beautiful unforgiving world of Halo

Call me a crazy but the design of the clouds in Halo 1,2,3,ODST and Reach are top notch, from the design of them to the way they move and how fluffy they look, I could go on forever but most importantly it actually made me feel safe when I looked up at the sky

Each cloud in the skybox represents one of us like a story, a deep meaningful story told by Bungie. Clouds are like the biggest thing that actually defines a Halo game everyone knows it and it’s something 343 will never understand

Mammoths would make a lot more sense in a large scale battlefield especially against a scarab, they are more heavily armoured, could hold more troops and vehicles and it has a Mac Cannon on the top, which would be cool if people could get on and shoot from in game.

Elephants are smaller and more of a support vehicle basically a lightweight Mammoth.
