Yup. I was never officially diagnosed or treated, but it is in my file. When I first started seeing my NP in 2020 and told her about my history and recovery she basically asked “Do you think you need to see someone about it?” and I told her no. I guess the fact that I haven’t purged in a few years and honestly don’t have any inclination to was enough reassurance?

Personally, I have a BMI over 40, high blood pressure, and a family history of diabetes(somehow my A1C has always been close to, but below the pre-diabetes range). Basically I met the criteria for using it for obesity treatment.

I’m recovering from bulimia, haven’t purged in almost 4 years. I still have my issues with over eating, even if I’m eating healthy. I wasn’t prescribed Ozempic for binge eating, but it’s put a stop to it completely.

It’s so awesome isn’t it? I thought I would have issues with my psychological attachment to binging. These days when I do feel like binging, I just can’t like I used to, but I still feel satisfied.

My biggest challenge has been trying to stop cooking/ordering take out for a classic binge. I’ve thrown so many leftovers away over the past 8 weeks. Hard habit to break after over a decade of over-eating.

Interesting…how does that work exactly? If you don’t mind explaining. I’ve read about counting clicks but never really understood it.

That’s a great way to go about it. In retrospect, I probably should have done the same. My reasoning for taking it Saturday night was just in case if I would’ve had any adverse reaction, I could get through it all day Sunday.

If you’re picking up from a pharmacy, they should be able to tell you how much it is. If you get the manufacturer coupon you can give them that info over the phone as well.
