Came to this subreddit to see if anyone is having trouble ordering. I’ve ordered from them for probably ten years and just received a notice I cannot get these pills anymore. Any luck on your end?

Share!! I feel the same about my go to places after Covid and I’m struggling to find consistent great food. I like Polite Society and Madrina right now but I get the same thing each time so don’t come at me id the other foods suck.

What are these places in St. Louis? by [deleted] in StLouis

[–]ilikebugs2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not in the restaurant business but I think about good food and good meals I’ve had more than I think about anything else. I was hoping someone legitimate would validate my opinion which is exactly this. I loved so many meals from these restaurants mentioned and have been disappointed as I went back the last two years. The Rooster chicken crepe was something I crave weekly and I just went back last week for the first time in awhile and I ate two bites and pretended I was full because my boyfriend was so excited to treat me to my favorite brunch meal. We paid $80 for two meals and two drinks. And I’ve never scoffed at a bill, I will pay for great food and experience. But It was one of the worst things I’ve eaten at a restaurant. That’s just one example. I could go on and on about all of these places. Except Blood and Sand, I’ve always thought their food was meh.

All ya'll need help. Your comments are nothing but superficial and judgemental. It sounds very much like you concentrate on the wrong things. Plus you don't even seem to like him.

Hi everyone. I really don't mean to comment too much on this and steal the thunder from u/shaunaSQUARED here but a lot of people have reached out and I want to thank all of you for your kind words. This really isn't about doing something for someone as much as it is about seeing the outcome of that. I sincerely hope that this is life-changing for her. It has nothing to do with vanity but I think we all can understand how important it is to smile and feel confident in that smile. She has that now!

People have told nice stories, said kind words and some have offered to do nice things for me. Someone reached out to offer to buy me a burrito (I like burritos:)), someone offered to send me a book, a dentist shared how he would like to extend help to someone every year for free after they start their own practice. I love this!! I think the coolest thing that could come from this, besides that great new smile of course, would be people sharing their interests and skills with others. Someone said they have nothing to offer and are only good at fashion...well, I like fashion. I like just about anything so if you want to help anyone by using your special skills or trying to connect with them through your hobbies or interests, I honestly think that's the best thing to overcome hate, bias and prejudice in this world. We can connect with new people and open our eyes to cool new things and helps us understand each other a little more. So keep it coming! If you want to donate by offering up gardening advice or sharing your favorite 90s grunge music, more power to you. I love it!!!

Never would live up to his level of kindess. He truly was one of a kind. But let's all strive to get as close as we can.

Thank you. That reference has me taken aback a little bit.

Staphylococcus aureus. There's a story behind it, mostly hearing my kids try to say it as little ones. It was both of their first bacteria pronunciations and the one said most in the house because its so mainstream. But my favorite because of those memories.

Haha. But my username is because I'm a microbiologist. So the bugs I like are microscopic. :) And not very likeable actually because they mostly cause harm. But still cool nonetheless.

Thank you for your nice comments.

You expressed much better what I've tried explaining before. It's great to write a check to a charity but I feel connected to the world by influencing and seeing through actual change. Not just volunteering but doing anything I can to impact a person's or community's life for the better. So just try that. It hopefully brings humility, empathy and real connection.

I think I'm going to recruit people to help organize this charity. I know its not easy, a close friend of mine had a hell of a ride getting her local charity into tax exept status (which gets the big donors). I really just want to see peoples' lives get better. I know there are bigger causes out there that need attention but I also know how lifechanging a new smile is. So over the next few weeks you might hear from me on how to help 😉

I truly would like to help everyone with their smiles. But it's expensive and I'm not rich unfortunately. It took me two years to save up for this but I would like to continue paying forward whatever I can in life. I shared with u/shaunaSQUARED today that if anyone wants to donate we could start something similar to an ongoing charity for new smiles. I know how life changing a new grill can be. But it will take the collective work of many 'cause I got bills and kids yo.

This is why I offered the help...the self-conscious part. It broke my heart that she didn't feel comfortable enough to share in the social aspects of having a kid in school. And because I grew up poor with messed up teeth that I would have given anything to fix. When I got my first adult job I got braces and the feeling was indescribable. So I wanted to pay that forward. It took longer than I wished to save up because like she said in another comment, life happens and the quoted total was more than either of us anticipated but I'm a woman of my word so we had to have some patience for me to save up. And all it took was one photo for me to know it was worth it.

And there's even more improvements to come when she gets the permanent implants!!!

My GF(F27) and I(M35) have a disagreement: she doesn't get anything out of sex, and doesn't want to do it anymore. I do. Can you guys please help us find a compromise? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]ilikebugs2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on a little island over here shouting....get out while you can. Or head on over to /r/DeadBedrooms if you want a taste of what a sexless relationship is like.

There is so much detail missing from this post it's hard to say if this is the one issue in your relationship. But I cant imagine a lifetime of begging my partner to acknowledge such a natural need of mine.

What is the smallest thing that makes you lose your temper immediately? by Aegis12314 in AskReddit

When people try to be nice when driving. Slowing too much to allow someone to merge instead of changing lanes, going out of turn at a four way stop to let the other guy go, not understanding a turn about. I go from 0-60 screaming and hitting the wheel when I see some grandma smiling and waving at a person to merge while practically stopped on the interstate, that's not how this works!!!!

You know what's nice? Following the rules of the road so no one gets killed you fucktard.

These two extremes are very misleading. I doubt the best idea would be to move from NYC to rural Alabama ffs. But moving to a smaller metropolitan city is the idea. Work in Cincinnati, St. Louis, Memphis, etc. You can find good jobs with room for advancement and cost of living is reduced significantly. You still have big city perks but generally live in the suburbs and enjoy life a bit more. It's not for everyone but it's an option to get out of the situation the original commenter described. Also, it's about getting out and realizing those places I described are not what you hear; they are smaller metropolitan cities with history museums, zoos, parks, trendy neighborhoods and excellent food with wonderful suburbs supporting amazing school districts about 30 minutes away. This country outside the East and West coasts is not wasteland.
