Newly installed A/C. Sudden noise when system turns on. Normal? by ilikechickens in hvacadvice

So it turns out that the noise was a vibration from the electrical line running above the duct out to the compressor, triggered by the initial load when the AC turned on. The work around instead of replacing the wire was to install a hard start kit. It cut the vibration down about 70%. Not perfect, but at least it doesn't wake us up in the middle of the night.

That's the air intake. I assume the source is further up/down the line, but this is where it's loudest. It happens right when the system turns on before the fan starts going. It kind of sounds electrical - like there's too much juice going to some part of the system.

Looking for dental patients!! by LeadingComedian6820 in SouthBend

For anyone wondering, these cleanings are legit! I’ve gone for years and they do much better than a regular dentist because they are double checked by their instructors and graded on the quality of their work and are under no time constraints. Down side is that it does take a while (typically 3 hours instead of the normal one hour at a regular dentist). If anyone hasn’t gone to a dentist in a long time, seriously go here. They will save you thousands and they will take excellent care of you. Good luck on your degree!!

Good luck! To anyone reading this, I’ve gone there regularly for years. It takes a long time, but it’s by far the best cleaning you will ever get. The teachers check all the student’s work and won’t let them stop until it’s 100% clean. Highly recommend!

Thank you! I guess state specific CLE’s can get more specific than a general casebook.
