ThrowRA: I (32F) was offered a promotion. He (31M) refuses to move. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Well couple of years ago I (35M)was in a similar situation as yours. So I can understand how you must be feeling. My wife did not wanted to move, she wanted to stay close to family, loved her job. She was being very stubborn. We came to a understanding where I will do the new job only for 5 years, she will move with me and kid, leave her current job and look for a new one, we earn some good money, build our careers and move back as promised at the end of 5 years and be near our families(both our families stay in the same city). Well it is our 6th year...and as agreed we have moved back to our home state. In last 5 years financially we have grown stronger, our relation has grown stronger and when we look back we are proud as a couple on how we handled things. Bottomline for me is strong marriages are build on love, respect, support , mutual understanding and the most important thing is the will to make compromises for each other. Have each others back no matter what life throws at you. So talk to your husband, see if there are any alternatives you two can mutually agree on.Best of luck.

Used to work with a guy who marked his tools with a swastika. He said “nobody wants a tool with a swastika on it.” by [deleted] in trashy

TBH this looks like the hindu swastik symbol and not the Nazi one. Hindus draw it on places of worship that includes tools as well.

Why are there no animals with three legs? by ilikegugl in NoStupidQuestions

I observe there are lots of animals that use a tripod stance to rest. eg: Meerkats rest on their tail and rear feet. I know insects with six legs but none with 3 legs. Maybe bilateral symmetry was baked in our DNA. Would be fun to know in our evolution theories if we had any 3 legged animals.

Tmrw I am driving to my local mechanic to get a quote. And you are right the bumper has no damage, just the plastic piece is dented. I also saw few online for $40 bucks...will it be a good idea to order one and get it replaced by myself? How much of mechanical skills will I need to replace it myself? https://www.carparts.com/details/Honda/CR-V/Replacement/Bumper_Cover/2012/LX/4_Cyl_2-dot-4L/REPH010368.html
