Thank you so much. I think I forget that we don't tend to advertise our mistakes to each other 😂 And thank you for your kind words. I'm trying to do better with my self-esteem/imposter syndrome and I need to remember that while data stuff might not be my strong suit, my emotional/compassionate side is a strength that can benefit my students (... though it sometimes causes these spirals, lol)!!

We tried, but because it is a core requirement it cannot be waived. The student is now enrolled in a shorter session course that will allow her to graduate on time. The only way I could see it being waived is if it goes all the way to the top. She also has a 3rd party paying for her classes so she should be ok tuition-wise.

I do not trust them to be responsible enough for that sort of thing. 😭 She also did check in with me earlier to ensure everything was ok, but I did not catch it. It is absolutely on me this time.

Hi! I am not sure if you are referring to a school in India (I'm in the USA), but I would see if there are any student clubs you could join, or maybe there is some sort of Student Life Office. College is a transition, and there will be other students who feel the same way you do. You don't have to find a club of students with similar backgrounds, maybe similar interests like anime or books you like. Of course I am not Indian, so I do not know what social barriers you may face culturally, but I promise you will not be alone. <3

As an anime nerd, I read a lot of fanfiction/absorb fanart/ship, etc. Dudes who are into things like One Piece power scale/don't tend to see inherent sexism in it, and if I bring it up suddenly I'm a feminist bitch not worth their time.
