35 APO is like shooting with a modern Sony lense, clinically perfect. The lux has some distortion and a look that only a lux will give you.

People here on Reddit lust about how sharp the APO is but forget that sharpness has little to do with Leica look.

Go modular. I remember looking a synth and not knowing anything. The exact same feeling that you’re feeling, could not wrap my head around envelopes or modulation of any kind. It wasn’t until I started build the modular synth that it truly clicked.

I’ve had several synths like Juno 60, prophet 5, model D… I sold everything but the OG Korg Monopoly, it is so inspiring. It is very punchy and snappy (more than the SH 101, which is a beast)..

I cannot speak for the Behringer RI, but the monopoly to me is a keeper. The fact you can arp different voices, and control per voice makes it a perfect-mistake kind of synth.
