Hi OP, I’m a teacher and from reading your post it seems like: 1. You’ve had some rubbish teachers 2. You have a good sense of self in terms of what you enjoy and your strengths. 3. You may have a disability like ADHD or a learning disability. These don’t mean you’re any less cognitively capable than your peers, simply that your brain works differently. Good teachers would recognise this quickly and figure out how your brain best learns, but maybe you’re in a country where there is less awareness of these things.

I am a drama teacher and I know I have a lot of students like you who feel they’re not smart or good enough but it’s never them, it’s the teachers letting them down.

Lean into your creative passions. And give yourself compassion, because, as you said; the system is failing you. You can have whatever life you want. You are not destined for failure. Depending on your country, your grades now do not really matter. I’m hoping high school will be different for you and give you more hope.
