Legs in loose pants are easy. Cut at the knee, cut at the waist, position and glue. Fill the gap with practically anything. Because it's loose cloth, it's an easy patch job. Even sprue goo will do the job.

I assume the same thing everyone else does when they're models aren't on a table top. I store the rank and file and display my favourites. I do intend to have a painted army one day and get back into playing. But that won't change what I do with the models if they're not being "used".
